TIPS (IMPORTANT!)

* Grundtvig is supporting adult learning programmes. You have to show that you work for an organization (can be your own + self employee) and bring the learning from the course to adult learners. If you are not an educator of part of the staff of organisations providing adult learning opportunities , think creatively of how what you do is or can be applied to adult learners. If you are not sure if you’re eligible, please contact your local agency and/or us.
* Think about who will officially support you in your organisation.
* Grundtvig will usually fund one member from an organisation but many work/community/NGO organisations will be eligible. If there is a group of you from a country that want to come then it is good to liaise with each other about which organisation you are representing rather than all write the same one on your application.
* You have to fill in every field in the application form.
* It maybe useful talk through the application form with your peer or someone else.
* It is good to think before filling in the form how you will take your learning from the training back to your organization, to other adults; you could write it up for your peers, give a talk, share it on a course, creating network, making new international or national initiatives. (this grant is geared towards Adult education)
* How will you manage this?
* Double check all the paperwork is included or you will be unsuccessful.
* If you get stuck - phone your local agency or email Robert for help before the deadline
* You might need to find an organization, that you are or have been working for (or You will!) in adult education, and that will sign your application. See if your National Agency is asking for that condition. This organization will benefit from your participation by receiving your report of the results of your participation.
* You might be able to apply in the names of different organizations. Check your National Agency’s website for “national priorities”.These might indicate special restrictions or opportunities for receiving an InService grant.
* Find out whether other people from your community/ country might be interested.
* If you are originally from a non-eligible country, but are now living in one or are now working for an organization in one of the eligible countries, please contact the National Agency of that country and ask them whether it is possible for you to apply for Grundtvig-funding or not!
